Cigarette Butt Clean Up
Daytona State Environmental Club members, students and their families will be conducting their first cigarette butt clean up event of the year to help support the 'No Butts' campaign for 2011.

Who else? Faculty, staff, plus any familes, friends, kids anyone else you'd like to bring! The more the merrier!
Past Clean Up Late 2010
Daytona State Environmental Club Students and their families conducted their second cigarette butt clean up event on November 14th to help support the 'No Butts' campaign for 2010.
A group of 18 or so students and their families, collected 10,000 butts in a period of 2 hours for a total of 25,000 picked up this year! . In the coming year we'd like to get more people involved in the clean up, collect more butts than last year and keep our campus beautiful.
Not only are the cigarette butts very unsightly, they are very harmful to the environment and wildlife.

Past Clean Up Early 2010
In early 2010 a group of 20 or so students and their families, collected 15,000 butts in a period of 2 hours. In the upcoming clean up in November, we'd like to blow those figures out of the water! We will be doing a raffle on the 18th November and someone will win a prize for guessing the closes to the amount of butts we collect :D
